Ways to assist earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria

(cnn) βΈ» More than 42,000 people are dead and tens of thousands injured after a massive earthquake rocked Turkey and Syria early on February 6. The magnitude 7.8 quake was one of the strongest to strike the area in more than a century, and Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Agency (AFAD) called for international help. The International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) launched immediate cash assistance from its Disaster Response Emergency Fund to help relief efforts in both countries.
