China delays the visit of Blinken - FT

The "spy balloon" controversy remains a stumbling block in relations between Beijing and Washington, with China refusing to fix a new date for US Secretary of State Antony Blinken due to concerns that Washington might publish the results of a probe into a suspected spy balloon incident. The FBI and US National Security Council have so far been reluctant to say whether the results of the probe will be made public. Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen's meetings with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and other US lawmakers are another reason why Blinken's visit to China remains held up.
