The Aquariids meteor shower and the May flower moon's perfect alignment with the sun and Earth will create a penumbral lunar eclipse, which will be between 11:13 a.m. and 3:31 p.m. ET Friday. The Aquariids will have to compete with bright light interference to be seen in the night sky, so it is best to go out around 3 o'clock in the morning and get a lawn chair and put the moon at your back. Robert Lunsford, fireball report coordinator for the American Meteor Society, suggests going out around 3 o'clock in the morning and looking for these fast meteors shooting upward from the eastern horizon.
