Musk explains Twitter ‘censorship’ in Türkiye

May 14, 2023

(RT)

Twitter has restricted user access to some content in response to the "legal process" and to ensure the platform "remains available to the people" of Türkiye during the presidential and parliamentary elections. Elon Musk defended the decision, saying it was par for the course for all Internet companies. On Sunday, voters in Türkiye will cast their ballots for the president and 600 members of the country's parliament. Polls predict a tight race for the presidency between incumbent Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Republican People's Party leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
