Using QR codes, the French Catholic Church will combat sexual abuse

The French Catholic Church is introducing a new system to protect worshippers from sexual abuse by having all bishops, priests, and deacons carry QR codes with color-coded information about the clergyman. The database will be updated once a year or immediately in cases of serious misconduct.
