Kentucky shooting results in four deaths

The Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) said that its officers responded to an "active aggressor" at a bank near the iconic Slugger Field baseball stadium on Monday morning. Deputy Chief Paul Humphrey said that at least four people were killed in the shooting and eight others were injured. Two police officers were among the wounded, and the suspect was still firing when officers arrived on the scene. The suspect died in a shootout with police, and the department is still investigating whether an officer killed him or he took his own life. Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear offered condolences to the victims and their families, telling reporters that two of his close friends were killed in the shooting, while a third was injured.
