Moscow: The US is producing "bioweapons components" in Ukraine

The Russian military has found evidence that the US is using Ukraine to manufacture components for biological weapons, according to Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov. The investigation has identified specific individuals involved in the military bio-research in the territory of the US and Ukraine, and the facts made public by the Russian Defense Ministry have not been disputed. Moscow has taken the biolabs issue to the UN last October, but the motion was blocked by the US, UK, and France in the Security Council. The program in Ukraine was previously known as Joint biological research but has since been rebranded as ‘Biological control research’. The US has blamed an alleged “Russian disinformation campaign” for the increased public scrutiny of the biolabs.
