UK to cross red line for Kiev, Washington'relieved' - media

(RT)

The UK's proposed delivery of long-range missiles to Ukraine does not mean the US will provide its own weapons. Politico and The Washington Post report that Washington's position remains unchanged and that the Pentagon is not going to send Army Tactical Missile System, or ATACMS, to Ukraine. The weapons in question are likely Storm Shadow cruise missiles. The British-French Storm Shadow missile was developed in the 1990s and used in a number of British military operations, but no final decision has yet been taken. London has a record of sending new weapons to Ukraine, and is willing to escalate if Russia doesn't like them.
