Palestinian militants in the Gaza Strip have fired more than 60 rockets towards Israel, with two Palestinians killed in Gaza and no serious injuries in Israel. Islamic Jihad swore revenge, but there was no rocket fire overnight. Israel's prime minister said any escalation from militants would be met with a "crushing response". Two Palestinians were killed in the town of Qabatiya by Israeli forces after a barrage of rockets were fired from Gaza. Tensions remain high in the occupied West Bank, with two Palestinians killed in the town of Beit Hanoun.
