(RT)

The presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey have opened, with 60 million people eligible to vote. The two main candidates are incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and opposition figure Kemal Kilicdaroglu. Polls indicate a tight race between the two, with a run-off if no candidate wins at least 50% of the vote. The parliamentary election comes down to a race between The People’s Alliance and the opposition Nation Alliance. If no candidate wins at least 50% of the vote, a run-off will be held.
