Iran and Bahrain will reopen their embassies in Manama and Tehran in the near future, according to an Iranian lawmaker. Elham Azad, part of an Iranian parliamentary delegation, held talks with the chairman of the Bahraini National Assembly about restoring diplomatic relations. On Sunday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi received an invitation from Saudi Arabia's King Salman to visit the kingdom following the reconciliation deal between the two countries. Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said that Tehran hopes to take steps towards the normalization of ties with Bahrain, and that three locations for the talks had been suggested.
